English Ministry of Inland Church

Shepherd’s Corner – September 16, 2018

I just came back from presbytery in Maryland.  I had a layover in
Charlotte, NC to come back home.  But because of the threat of
Hurricane Florence, I was re-routed through Philadelphia.  I know that
the hurricane was downgraded to category 1 before it hit landfall, but
the the coast of North Carolina is still subject to major flooding
issues.  Let’s pray that people are safe and that our Christian
brothers and sisters in the area and their churches are able to
mobilize as Christ’s hands and feet.  At times it may seem unfair, but
this is one of the times when the world looks to the Christian church
to act.  Let’s be reminded of this and be mindful of opportunities in
our own areas.  And when we take the time to help, let’s pray that God
would open the door for us to point folks to Christ or later down the
road for others to point them to Christ.  Let’s be the salt and light!
cf. Matt 5:13-16

in Him,
Rev. Daevid Yoon
