I pray that everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving. Last Sunday, we had a great Thanksgiving Sunday lunch, and even more it was great to see about 30 of our EM remain to share with one another what they were thankful for. It was particularly good to see how things that we are thankful for can differ at different ages. And this is one of the main blessings of sharing like this. Being a multi-generational ministry allows us to reap the benefits of seeing how the faith remains relevant through all ages and allows us to learn from one another and see a bigger picture of God’s working in the lives of our congregant members. If you weren’t able to join us, I strongly urge y’all to start making it a point to join us in this event next year and all events that are like this. The leadership started the age groups as a means for setting up structure, but as I explained before, being multi-generational will naturally cause those lines to become porous so that we can learn from those generations that have gone before us and those that are coming after us. I am thankful that y’all are joining me in this multi-generation vision for the Gospel and pray that you will endeavor with me in it!
