English Ministry of Inland Church

Shepherd’s Corner – May 28, 2017

Last weekend I had the opportunity to visit the 12th grade retreat and
share with them.  It was a good time to meet the future new EM
members.  I hope that this will be a regular practice because,
apparently such a meet and greet had never happened before. The
continuity of the faith between ages and generations is crucial. And
this is particularly the case between departments in a large church
setting. So sure, sleeping on a foam mattress in a bunk bed isn’t the
most optimal sleeping arrangements, but it’s a small price to pay to
make important connections with the next generation of EMers.  These
young brothers and sisters will be having their first Sunday in EM
next week, June 4.  Let’s pray for them.  Let’s pray that they will
join us and that we receive them with open arms. But let’s especially
remember that this is biblical truth in practice.  That the wonder of
the Lord’s salvation is shared and passed on to those around us,
before us, and after us (cf. Ps 78)!

in Him,
Rev. Daevid Yoon
