English Ministry of Inland Church

Shepherd’s Corner – December 29, 2019

Another year of God’s blessings and guidance is being shelved in our memories. Let’s be a church that remembers well. Let’s never forget all of God’s faithfulness and provisions in our lives and in the life of our church. This may not come naturally to us, so we need regular practice. So start with the easy ones: 1. recall any happy moments in 2019 [graduation, birth of a baby, wedding, new job, laughing sessions with friends or family], smile and thank God for each person involved in that and how God placed them in your lives. 2. recall challenging times in 2019 [loss of a job, loss of a loved one, financial troubles, argument with a loved one, failed class], focus and reflect on what you learned from that situation and ask that God would use those moments to teach you to turn to God in prayer more and strengthen your faith and character. Let me remind you that God is good. The bible tells us this and in my own life I’ve witnessed this. May that truth lead us in 2020 to turn to Him more and rely on His guidance for the new year both individually and as a church. in Him, Rev. Daevid Yoon
