This upcoming week is called Passion Week, also called Holy Week. It
marks the time from Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem until his
crucifixion on Calvary. Essentially, this is a time when Christians
reflect upon Christ’s journey to the cross. Honestly, for Christians
this should be everyday. But because we’re forgetful and we often
need the help of a calendar, we can at least be assured we will be
thinking about this at least once a year. So I would like to
recommend for you to sign up for a daily devotion from the faculty of
Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary emailed to you everyday of Passion
Week (http://bit.ly/2nTmYK1). Because reflecting on the cross of
Christ without the scriptures would just be emotional pouting; but
meditating on the Scriptures to deepen our understanding and
appreciation of the cross of Christ is food for our soul.
in Him,
Rev. Daevid Yoon
