Rev. Daevid Yoon is a 2nd generation Christian: his parents were the first to believe Christ in their households. So he strongly believes in the beauty of the faith being passed on from generation to generation. That’s been his conviction and desire for his pastoral ministry. So after studying English literature at the University of Pennsylvania, he went on to get his Masters of Divinity at Westminster Seminary California, get ordained in the KAPC in 2004, and eventually his Doctorate of Ministry at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. But all the studying in the world couldn’t prepare him for the privilege of preaching and teaching Christ crucified and resurrected to the generations at Inland EM. It’s only God’s gospel grace that has sustained and enabled him. And that privilege continues with his family: his wife Erica, son Lucas, and daughter Zoe.
